Devin Madden
Graduate Assistant
Devin@cwhf.org
203.392.9008

Devin Madden graduated from Fordham University in 2007 with her BA in English and Women’s Studies. On Fordham’s campus, she was an active member of the Progressive Students for Justice organization and co-coordinated the Women’s Empowerment committee. With this organization, she helped lead many workshops and public forums addressing the issues of women both on and off campus. The highlight of her college career was co-producing and co-directing “The Vagina Monologues” for three straight years. Doing so gave Devin the opportunity to begin a safe, open dialogue, on campus, about women’s sexuality and violence against women.

Post-graduation, Devin went on to work with the March of Dimes as a Community Director. Here, she had the opportunity to coordinate walkathons and special events while educating the community on issues ranging from pre-term birth to prenatal care.

Devin is now a graduate student at Southern Connecticut State University seeking her Masters in Public Health. She plans on focusing on women’s health issues and reproductive health issues. She would love to become a Community Health Educator while joining the fight for women’s health rights globally.
