In addition to the resources available in the Virtual Hall, the CWHF is proud to make two traveling exhibits available to Connecticut non-profit organizations, educational institutions, corporations, and other groups. We Fight for Roses, Too and the Inductee Portrait Exhibit feature the stories of our Inductees and have been displayed in schools, libraries, corporations, malls and other public sites throughout Connecticut and beyond. The Inductee Portrait Exhibit has even traveled as far as the Cannon Legislative Office Building in Washington, D.C.
We welcome any opportunity to lend our exhibits because your hosting helps us to spread the word about the remarkable achievements of our Inductees! Exhibits are free for non-profits, educational institutions, women's organizations, and our partner sponsors. Other organizations and corporations are asked to make a donation to the CWHF to help defray the costs of exhibit maintenance. All hosts are required to arrange for pick-up and drop-off of the exhibits at our New Haven office. Click here for host information.
We Fight for Roses, Too: Connecticut Women and the Quest for Equality consists of 22 free-standing panels dedicated to the stories of our Inductees. Each panel measures approximately 84”x36” and is fully collapsible. The exhibit may be borrowed in full or in part.
The Inductee Portrait Exhibit is made up of 65 black-and-white frames with an Inductee photo and brief biography. Each frame measures roughly 16”x20” and can be displayed on a wall or on an easel. The exhibit may be borrowed in full or in part.
