The Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame is proud to offer the following exhibits, both of which are portable and ready to travel:
"We Fight For Roses, Too: Connecticut Women and the Quest for Equality" , is our newest exhibit, consisting of 22 free standing panels designed to travel and dedicated to the stories, struggles and achievements of our inductees.
The Framed Portrait Exhibit consists of 65 pieces, each 16 " X 20 " framed work features a black and white photo and biography of an inductee.
Both exhibits have been displayed in schools, libraries, corporations, malls and other public sites throughout Connecticut, and the framed exhibit has reached as far as the Cannon Legislative Office Building in Washington, D.C. An estimated 250,000 people have seen the achievements of our inductees in a variety of locations throughout the state and nation.
There is no charge for being a host; we only ask that you pick up and return the exhibit from our offices in New Haven, and contribute a small donation to help fund any exhibit upgrades and additions we have planned for the future. The Hall of Fame appreciates the interest shown in our exhibit: Your hosting the exhibit helps us "get the word out" about the remarkable achievements of our inductees.
While many feature the inductee pieces as backdrops for receptions or conferences, others display them as the centerpiece of their event and we are happy to accommodate these arrangements as well.
If you or your organization is interested in hosting our exhibit, please click here or fill it out online. For more information or if you have any questions about our exhibits, please email info@cwhf.org. |
