The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame honors women, past and present, whose achievements have gone underecognized. Our strengths lie in the innovative ways with which we share women’s stories with diverse audiences across the state and beyond. Our programs fill a void traditional curriculum still fail to address and provide teachers, guidance counselors, and coaches creative ways to offer young women role models.

Through these programs, we focus on outreach initiatives: The Annual Inductions, the Hall of Fame web site, our traveling exhibits, the Ella Tambussi Grasso Center for Women in Politics with its Youth Action Conference, teacher curriculum, educational materials, and Speaker’s Bureau all support and advance or mission. As our audience expands, our increased visibility works not only to our advantage, but to the advantage of our sponsors, whose support we herald year-round at every venue in which one of our programs takes place.
