In honor of Women’s History Month, the Greenwich Historical Society welcomes Louisa Iacurci of the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame for a lecture exploring the inspiring histories of Hall of Fame Inductees whose work and lives are intertwined with social advocacy and journalistic activism, including photographers Margaret Bourke-White and Annie Leibovitz and writer, journalist and politician Clare Booth Luce.
Connecticut has been home to some incredible writers and journalists, and this program explores the contributions of some of the remarkable women who have shaped our understanding of the world through their writing and reporting.
