A Story of Honor and Remembrance for Dr. Jane Hamilton-Merritt

Last month we received a lovely letter written by Kathleen Maghee for inductee Dr. Jane Hamilton-Merritt. Maghee met Dr. Jane many years ago when she was a little girl living in Tobago. Her meeting Dr. Jane was an inspirational and transformative moment for the young girl. The story was so touching we immediately sent it to Dr. Jane who was moved very deeply by the lovely remembrance it inspired her to send a letter recognizing the unexpected “gift” she received. It is a simple reminder of how a small action can have a larger impact and how a story can inspire more than just one heart.
